Hexagon Robotics is a division of Hexagon – a global leader in precision measurement. Established in 2025, Hexagon Robotics develops humanoid robots for industrial sectors to address labor shortages and enable the transition from automation to autonomy. The first humanoid product, AEON, was launched in June 2025 and combines agility, awareness, spatial intelligence and versatility to provide a market-leading solution for automotive, transportation, aerospace, manufacturing, and logistics customers.
We’re looking for a Product Owner who can turn ambitious ideas into clear, actionable product plans, support ongoing product discovery, and translate use cases into well-defined backlog items. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, and leadership to clarify problems, maintain a prioritized backlog, and keep the roadmap aligned with delivering practical value to customers and internal users.
Your Mission

Shape and maintain the product vision and roadmap for key humanoid subsystems

Translate user needs and technical insights into clear, actionable requirements

Prioritize the backlog and make decisions that balance feasibility, user value, and long-term strategy

Collaborate daily with robotics, software, and hardware teams

Be responsible for sprint planning, reviews, and cross-team alignment

Engage with early customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to validate use cases

Track performance, identify risks, and keep the team focused on measurable outcomes

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations for humanoid robotics.
Your Skillset
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager (robotics or hardware experience strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of how mechanical, electrical, and software systems come together
- Comfort working with highly technical teams and translating between engineering and business language
- Experience shipping complex, iterative products
- Experience with ROS, CI/CD, Git-based development is a plus.
- Comfortable reading engineering documentation, logs, and understanding code snippets
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- A genuine interest in humanoid robotics and a drive to contribute to the advancement of this exciting field.
- Proficiency in English is a must; German is a plus.
